In addition to being the maternal grandmother of my two beautiful grandchildren, Lucille was a close and special friend, more like a sister, who welcomed me into her loving family with open arms when my son and her daughter married almost 28 years ago. I will miss her everyday and forever treasure the many happy memories we shared. We were known among family and friends as "fric and frack" because neither of us had any sense of direction and were the only two who could get lost several times "in a softball tournament parking lot." As I undoubtedly will continue to get lost on my own, I know she will be looking down at me as I look up for her and listen for that beautiful laugh!
She was a very special person, who knew no stranger, and gave so much to so many throughout her life. I am honored to have been blessed to have her in my life and to share our loving families.
