Obituary of Jared Colin Dillon

Jared Colin Dillon passed away at his home in Sterling, VA on January 1st, 2021.  He was born September 22nd, 1985 to Stewart and Connie (James) Dillon.  Jared is a 2004 graduate of Herndon High School in Herndon, VA and a 2010 graduate of Universal Technical Institute in Exton, Pennsylvania.   He graduated top of his class from the Ford FACT program with many student awards. He then became a full-time mechanic for Ted Britt Ford Motor Company where he worked the last 10 years.  He loved his career and loved working on vehicles, he was great at it.

Jared grew up playing soccer and enjoyed playing even into college.  His new passion was paint balling.  He enjoyed going out with friends on the weekends to play.  He loved playing golf, bowling and darts.  He enjoyed gaming online as well.  Jared was an amazingly bright man.  He was always there for anyone who needed him and willing to help everyone.  He loved to play with his nieces and nephews even if they wore him out.  He became a godparent to his first nephew Landon in April of 2012.

Jared is survived by his parents, Stewart and Connie Dillon of Mankato MN, sister Casey (Dan) Fredrickson of Mankato MN, half-brother Jason (Kelly) Dillon of Elysian MN, many nieces and nephews, grandmother and grandfather Gary and Beryl Ross of Waseca, MN, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Donald and Helen James.

The family will be having a visitation on Wednesday January 6th, 2021 from 3pm-6pm and the Adams-Green funeral home in Herndon, VA.  There will be more information to follow for family in Minnesota.
