Dear Family & Friends,
We had the privilege of praying with Nancy every day for the past year. It was truly a gift to grow close to her and accompany her as she gracefully carried her heavy cross. God answered our prayer for her healing in a different way than we wanted. And she is now perfectly healed from everything.
Nancy often prayed that she would be able to continue the Lord’s work even if she wasn’t on the earth. There is no doubt …. at all … that she is doing exactly that.
Her faith was unshakeable. We are still in awe of her strength and her surrender to God’s Will. We now have a beautiful advocate in heaven. We love her so much and always will.
Lots of love,
Boots Sargis and Laurea DiJoseph

Nancy was a wonderful lady. Full of life and very pro-life. I met her over 20 years ago saying the rosary at the abortion clinic with the group. And she had been constant with that until recently. The last few times she and I might be the only ones there saying the rosary. I will miss her.

Dear Jennifer and Katie I have many fond memories of Nancy. Starting with the early tears at the Fairview Apartments when we were neighbors and good friends. Then the early years with the house on Piney Branch where both of you were born. The loss of a parent is always a shock to the soul. I will be thinking about you two. As Warren Zevon wrote in a song when he learned he was dying. "If I leave you, it doesn't mean that I love you any less." You already know that about your Mom. Embrace your fond memories. Love, Scott

I am sorry for the loss of Nancy to her family. I am also grateful for the love that Nancy showed for Sam, Andy and Zane, for being an amazing co-parent to them, and for her generosity and inclusion of our family fully into hers from the first Thanksgiving onward. She was a warm and generous person with a great commitment to helping people achieve their very best.

Dear Charlie and family of Nancy, I met Nancy at daily mass when my husband and I first moved to Virginia in 2003. I asked her for coffee since I knew no one in the area. We had coffee together every day while we lived there. Since we moved and are now residing in Greer S.C., we have stayed in touch. We became very close, and I spoke to her the week before she died. I became one of her back up prayer supports when she made the annual March to Life! The last thing she told me was how much she missed me, now I can say the same! I lost my sister to Covid last year and she said not to be sad for she is praying for us!
Please pray for us Nancy, we love you and miss you! God Bless! Bill & Irene Ainsworth
