Obituary of Romaine G. Bundy

Eleanor Romaine (Gardner) Bundy, 82, passed away on January 22, 2021 at Reston Hospital Center.  

Born on August 17, 1938 in Herndon VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward (Teddy) Gardner and the late Helen (Farr) Gardner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Bundy, her brother, Karl Gardner, and her stepdaughter, Jessie Bundy.  

Romaine is survived by her two daughters: Donna Moran and Wanda Moran Byington (Bill); three grandchildren: Ashlee Moran, Todd Byington (Rachel), and Brooke Byington; and two great-grandsons:  Remus and River Byington.  Romaine is also survived by her stepchildren:  Jamie Bundy (Paula) and Lisa Bundy.  Additional grandchildren include Nicole Cullins, Brandon (BJ) Bundy, Ariel Bundy, Brandi Meehan, and Joey Bundy; and great-grandchildren: Zachary Wade, Hannah Wade, Emily Wade, Quinn Yoder, and Jolene Meehan.

She is survived by her brother, Sid (Phyllis) Gardner of Midland, VA; brother, Eddie (Judy) Gardner of Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Carolyn (Steve) Gough of Stafford, VA; and sister, Cynthia (Michael) Fincham of Culpeper, VA and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Adams-Green Funeral Home.  

A private funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Adams-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Ho officiating. Burial will follow at Smiths Chapel Cemetery, Great Falls, VA.   

Burial services are not restricted, and all family and friends may attend.
