National Sorghum Producers posted a condolence
Friday, March 26, 2021
The board, staff and families of National Sorghum Producers and the United Sorghum Checkoff Program send our deepest condolences to the Gaibler family. We value the long-standing relationship we had working with Floyd at the U.S. Grains Council, and we will certainly miss his presence and tenacious advocacy on behalf of U.S. sorghum, corn and barley producers in the future.

To Mrs. Salome H. Gaibler,
Words cannot describe the sorrow I felt on finding out about Floyd's passing. His generous spirit and high professionalism was clear to everyone who met him. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Hope you find strength and love in friends and family to face the though days ahead.

On behalf of the USDA/USTR Grains, Feed, Oilseeds, and Planting Seeds Agricultural Technical Advice Committee, it is with profound sadness that we hear of the passing of our esteemed member, Mr. Floyd Gaibler.
Many of us have had the distinct honor of closely working with Floyd over the years successfully growing the international sales of US agricultural products.
His primary area of specialty was trade policy issues related to the export of U.S. feed grains and their co-products. However, Floyd was a tremendous help to all of us irrespective of the commodities we might represent.
Our prayers for comfort are with Floyd’s family, friends, and associates. He will be sorely missed.

I served with Floyd for three years when he was a Bush Appointee. He was a kind soul, a consummate professional and a good man. His faith was very important to him. He was a pleasure to work for and with. Very saddened to hear of his passing. May his wife, daughter and extended family find comfort through Jesus Christ the Lord. David Hatch
