Obituary of Kathryn Enright Kotwas

Kathryn Enright Kotwas, 83, of Ashburn, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 surrounded by her five children, Larry Kotwas, Kenny Kotwas, Mark Kotwas, Lisa Rooney, and Jennifer Blakeman.

Kathy was born on October 21, 1937 in Rochester, NY to Joseph and Eileen Enright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Kotwas. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Kathy instilled her love of travel and adventure in her children, living overseas in Africa and Afghanistan. The summers overseas were a continuation of their adventures with extensive travel throughout Europe and Asia. Later in life, her love of travel shifted to spending precious time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

There will be a small private family gathering on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA. Interment will follow at Leesburg Union Cemetery.
