In loving memory of my Aunt Mary. She was there for all of the important occasions in our life. From graduations, christenings, marriages and holidays she was always there. She was the minister that married Bill and I in 1988. As an aspiring female engineer in the early 1980's, she was a great role model for me, being a trailblazer for women in the field of ministry herself. She was a very strong, smart and independent woman, a great role model for Barb too, which is why they always seemed to click. She was like a second mom to us and a second grandmom to my children, never having had children herself. I was very glad that she was able to travel down to Florida in spring of 2018 for Barbara's high school graduation. It was good to spend time with her, have fish n' chips and see the fireworks at Epcot and hang out with the extended family. We didn't know it at the time, but that would be her last trip down to Florida, so I'm glad we had a good week together.
Holidays and special occasions will never be the same without her. God speed Mary and give our love to Bill for us!
