Linda K. (née Caplan) Hansen of Great Falls, Virginia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed in the early hours of the morning on the 4th of March, 2021. The second of three children, Linda was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the 10th of January, 1946 to parents Harold and Rachel Caplan. 

While growing up, Linda developed her natural talent for art and creative expression, designing and selling apparel and art to notable celebrities and boutiques. Following the birth of her children, Linda focused her energy on motherhood and volunteering. She lent her talents and artistry in the creation of many beautiful works of art for schools, youth sports, community organizations, friends, and family. Her creative talents extended into the kitchen as well. Linda was a phenomenal chef and known to many for her gourmet cuisine, as well as her delicious and beautifully decorated sugar cookies.

Linda was the devoted and loving wife to her husband, Chris; loving and adored mother of her three children, Paula, Erik, and Jenny; sister to Marilyn and David; “Gramma Gup” to her five grandchildren, Camden, Kane, Boden, Benji, and William; and friend to many.

She loved to give to others. Her gentle, sweet nature and kind heart have touched the lives of so many over the years. Linda was the glue that bound her family together, and will continue to do so through fond memory and love.
