Alicia Robyn Hill-Crouse, age 54, passed away on March 12, 2021.
Robyn, as her friends and family fondly called her, was born in October 1966 in Washington, D.C. to John Mehoves and Holly Oates. During her childhood, Robyn lived in various places around both the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and the country, including Huntsville, Alabama, and Boston, Massachusetts. Ultimately, she returned to her native roots and graduated from Herndon High School in 1985. She went on to attend Virginia Tech and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management. Following her academic career, Robyn worked for several government-contracting agencies, where she eventually met the love of her life, Steve. Together, the two raised Robyn’s daughter, Brittany, and had a life full of love and laughter.
Robyn is survived by her daughter, Brittany; father, John; mother, Deanna; sister, Karri; brother, John; in-laws, Brian, Caroline, Dave, Paula and Sue; nieces and nephews, Madison, Trevor, Riley, Mila, Liam, John Wyatt, Trina, Sam, and Jake; and countless more family and friends.
Robyn will be remembered by her kind and calm demeanor, gentle sweet smile, love of country music, and, above all else, her pure selflessness. Family, friends, and others whose lives Robyn touched are invited to stream Robyn’s memorial service on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Robyn’s name to the Homeless Animals Rescue Team (HART), an organization that was incredibly important to Robyn.
