Obituary of Thomas Andrew Forrester

On March 26, 2021 after spending the day at home with his wife, Thomas (Rocky) A. Forrester, 66, of Sterling, Virginia was called home to be with his Lord and Savior.  Rocky passed peacefully from his earthly home to his heavenly one.

 

Rocky grew up in Virginia and was known to all as “Mr. Fix It”.  He later met, and in 1996, married Janet Stimson. He was a member of and all-around Handy-Man for Oakton Baptist Church of Chantilly.

 

Rocky was preceded in death by his mother Pearl Forrester.  He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Janet and his two fur babies Buddy and Baby.  Rocky is also survived by his father Tom, brother Jerry Forrester, his sisters Joan (Don) Gratz, Mary Forrester, Jane Montgomery, and many nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Oakton Baptist Church of Chantilly, located at 14001 Sullyfield Circle, Chantilly, VA.  Due to COVID restrictions, immediate family only.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Rocky.
