Dear Family of Walter, The Colvin Run Citizens Assoc. BoD send you their deepest condolences on the loss of your dear Walter. We are saddened by his passing and will sorely miss him. He was an indelible part of our Colvin Run family for many years and we will always treasure his passion and contributions to preserve and maintain the historic schoolhouse. We always appreciated his sense of humor and wise advice. ON a personal level, I loved to do the Polks with Walter. Love to all, Jean

I just learned about Mr Harrison’s passing this evening, April 12. Very sad news as much of old Herndon is gone. He and his garage were a staple in the community - allways treated my mom very well. Enjoyed chatting and will miss him at the HHS reunion picnics. Rest in peace Mr Harrison.

WO was a great friend to my husband, Ted Rion. Together they were brothers in the Herndon Masonic Lodge. Evelyn helped me with my children when they had colic, and when Ted passed, WO was very supportive and kind. I will always remember his sense of humor and beautiful smile. WO must have been a great dad and grandfather because his son, Dave, and granddaughter, Amanda are models of integrity and kindness. My heart goes out to all of you. I am sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that WO and Ted are having a great time and just waiting for us to join them. I will always remember WO with a smile.

I first met W.O. in '61. We became friends and later found ourselves to be Brother Masons.
Over the years my respect for him grew and it was a privilege to present him with the
York Rite Gold Honor Award for his outstanding service to the Craft.
W.O. will be greatly missed, not just by his family and Brother Masons, but by the untold
numbers of people he has helped. Fair well my Brother.

Harrison family, know that my thoughts and prayers go out to you. W.O. was truly a one of a kind person. He always had a handshake when he saw you. And made time to talk even when he was busy. He ran the best garage in the area. Was always fair in his prices and excellent in his service! He will be missed by many!!
