Obituary of Constance Irene Bellot
Surrounded by her family at home, Connie (Marchand) Bellot, 78, of Herndon, VA, formerly of Lakewood, CO, and Rancho Cucamonga, CA, went to the Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Devoted to her faith, family, church, and community, and an active volunteer with food ministries, Connie was a prayer warrior for family, friends, and strangers – always spreading the Word of God and bringing comfort to those in need. Connie thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards and games, crocheting, gardening, visiting thrift shops, and, most importantly, spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Connie and her husband, Jim, explored the United States and the world and reveled in adventure. She was an active member of Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, CO, Water of Life Community Church in Fontana, CA, and the Auxiliary of Gideons International. An exceptional listener and conversationalist, she always strived to keep on top of the news and happenings in the world and made friends easily. Over the years, Connie owned and operated barber shops and was a successful salesperson for Home Interiors. She retired as an Associate Director from Mt. San Antonio Gardens, Pomona, CA.
Connie was born in Worcester, MA and is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Jim Bellot, of Herndon, VA; sons, Joe Skowronski (Barbara) of Herndon, VA, and David Skowronski of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; stepchildren, Kelly Johnson (Steve) of Evergreen, CO, Todd Bellot (Julie) of Lakewood, CO, and Scott Bellot (Samara) of Newport, OR; grandchildren, Kristen DeYoung (Tyler), Allison Strong (Alex), Matthew Skowronski, Brett Johnson (Kendra), Rachelle Wood (Ross), Bryce Johnson (Kelly), and Clara and Eva Bellot; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Isaac DeYoung, Theo and Josie Johnson, and Ada and Harris Wood. She is also survived by her brother, Bob (Kathy) Marchand of Thornton, CO, and sister, Cindy DuPont (Lewis) of Rialto, CA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gaetane (Martel) Marchand and sister of the late Evelyn Adams.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA, on Wednesday, May 12, at 11 a.m. Private burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery in Quantico, VA, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (https://wfcmva.org) in memory of Connie Bellot.
