I just learned of Margaret’s passing and want to offer condolences to the family. Margaret was a dear friend to my mother, Dot Manley, with whom she worked at the Geological Survey. They remained close friends for many years, during which Margaret was always so helpful and generous, a wonderful friend. Margaret was a truly caring soul and I know she will be greatly missed.

I am sad to lose my dear aunt, Margaret. She was so sweet, kind, and giving! Aunt Margaret was the last living sister of my father, Edward Perry. I loved chatting with her on the phone--she'd share stories of growing up in Stafford County and of their life at my Grandma's country store. Aunt Margaret never missed sending birthday and anniversary cards over the years to our very large and extended family--a huge task that she enjoyed according to her! She was a dog lover and visited nursing homes and hospitals with her therapy dog, Kix. Aunt Margaret loved wildbirds--just like my grandmother, my father, and me--she made her own suet! I admire her strength, kindness, giving spirit, and loving personality. I will fondly remember her and will dearly miss her! Janet Perry Mikionis

Aunt Margaret was my Dad's youngest sister. I know my father Ed and his sisters Ann and Mary are welcoming their baby sister in Heaven with open arms!!!
Aunt Margaret knew I collected teacups and she sent me the cutest teacup birdhouse which is hanging in my back yard. I will think of her kind generosity every time I glance out my kitchen window. She and her husband also Bill gifted me a huge puzzle (I have no idea how many pieces but LOTS!) picturing a selection of beautiful tea cup that they had meticulously completed just for me.
I will dearly miss her birthday and anniversary cards and phone calls...I received them like clockwork. She was an amazing Aunt!
