I did not know Chris personally but he had a profound affect on me during the time of my fathers passing. He was kind in our time of need, he was wise in our confusion, he was calming in our time of chaos. I remember bringing my young son to the home and being chastised by a family member for doing so. Chris pulled me aside to thank me for not shielding my child from the circle of life and instead welcome him into its mystery. I have always carried his words with me. He was a gift to so many families, I wish the Adams family the same peace Chris gave so many of us.

We will always remember Chris sitting quietly observing the Herndon Hurricane games where Hannah and Susana played travel soccer together. After the season ended, we were invited to the Adams’s home for an end of the year celebration. Chris was very welcoming and always made us feel like family. He will truly be missed. Mary Beth and I are so sorry to hear of Chris passing. Chris has been a great friend since we first met at Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He was someone I could always turn to for advice. I will miss our talks, but his memory will live on until we see him again in heaven. For many years, Chris Adams supported families through the loss of a loved one, offering them comfort and compassion.
