To her family and friends: I met Beth at Thoreau Place and always enjoyed talking to her or just seeing her around. She was a warm and intelligent woman, who always made everyone feel welcome. She was a pleasure to talk to, and we had some wonderful chats: sometimes serious, other hilarious. I always thought of her as a light in our place. The thought of not having her around makes me feel incredible sad. I can only guess how much her granddaughter -whom she loved so deeply- must be feeling. The same with anyone who knew her and valued her : her strength, bravery, intelligence and commitment, and above all, her kindness.
