Obituary of Edward James Earle, Jr.
Edward James Earle Jr. “Ed”, age 70, died on Wednesday July 21, 2021 in his home in Smyrna, Delaware surrounded by friends. Ed was born on September 18, 1950 in Washington, D.C, graduated from Bladensburg High School on June 14, 1968 and received his Associates Degree from Prince George’s Community College in 1981. Ed was a loving son, Pet Parent and a generous and supportive friend to many. His passions included playing Tennis, watching the NY Yankees, listening to his favorite musical group Alabama, and lovingly caring for many rescue animals in his lifetime. Ed’s Favorite saying was: “I have a system” and he did! Ed loved his new home and became a fixture in the community walking his dog “Oscar” and making new friends. Ed loved to visit the beach and watching the morning sunrise and evening sunset.
Ed was preceded in death by his Parents: Edward & Doris Earle and his beloved Dogs and Cats, Spottie, Nick, Cody, Buddy, Lady, Pookie, Ginny, Miss Kitty, Aussie & Mrs. Kitty. He is survived by his beloved dog Oscar and his cats, Buffy, Lucy & Bootsy and many friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Va. Friends will have an opportunity to share stories, tributes, and comments at 11:00am. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
