Obituary of Shirley Jeanne Miller

Shirley J. Miller, on Saturday, December 5, 2009, long-time resident of Herndon, Virginia, Shirley Miller, passed away at her home, at the age of 82. She was an avid pianist and enjoyed playing music up to the age of 82. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she moved to the Washington area to pursue a government career and attended American University, where she received a Bachelor of Science, and met her husband of 59 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert Miller; her daughters, Terry Biederman, Nancy Miller, and Kathryn Wiley; sons-in-law, Robert Biederman and Tom Wiley; two grandchildren Blaine and Katie Wiley, and brother Jack Ahlstrom. A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, Virginia.
