Liz was mother to our son's oldest friend, Alex. The boys met when they were 3 and were inseparable growing up, and so we would often see Liz at the birthday parties of our boys or at the innumerable school functions we all had to attend. She was such a gracious and loving person, and her spirit was clearly passed on to her son Alex, who is one of the most decent young men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
She lit up the room with her smile, and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
I include a photo of Liz some 20 years ago, when we first met her and she was over for what was probably our son's 4th birthday.
