Obituary of Regina K. Delisi
Regina Katherine Delisi, 89, of Sterling, VA, went to her heavenly home on Monday, August 23rd, 2021.
Born on September 29, 1931, in Berkley Springs, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Edmiston and the late Virginia Haas Edmiston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Delisi, daughter Cynthia Martin, and sons Johnny and Chris Delisi.
She was the loving sister of Anna Belle, Mary, Helen and Tibby and is survived by daughters Joanne Bendure (Jerry), Jennifer Newman (Michael), and sons Philip (Bev) and Paul (Annie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren.
Regina spent nearly 20 years raising her seven children and creating a beautiful and loving home for her family. She was a loving, generous, selfless, kind and devoted wife and mother. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for over 50 years as a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, and church. She enjoyed spending time reading, working crossword puzzles, sewing, visiting wineries and enjoying a glass of wine on football Sundays with her family.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 30, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St. Herndon, Virginia. Burial will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery at 305 US Avenue, Culpeper, Virginia.
