To John, Kevin and all the family of Terry (as we knew her), we send our condolences to you. Our families here in Reston go back years. We were in Jack of Jill of America together, and Terry and I worked together after we "graduated"--meaning our kids were out of high school. We also discovered that we were from Detroit, and often inquired "when are you going home?"
Terry was a warm, loving friend who always greeted you with a smile. She was compassionate and willing to help others. She volunteered with Works Sunday projects benefitting children. In later years, though we did not see each other often, when we did, it was a joy. I will miss those occasional meetings.
