Obituary of Alejandro Rustia Albert
Alejandro Mariano Rustia Albert, known to family and friends as Andy, was a loving, kindhearted, and generous husband, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend. He was called to his eternal home on September 8, 2021 at the age of 63.
Andy lived in Northern Virginia with his wife, Nonita Singzon. He is welcomed to heaven by his father, Alejandro Albert, his mother Maria Clara Rustia Alvarez, and his eldest sister Cecilia Albert Lapus. Andy is survived by his wife, Nonita, siblings Eugenio Albert, Teresita Albert, Corazon Albert Posadas, Martha Albert Fernandez, Mariano Albert, Lawrence Alvarez, Virgil Alvarez, and Patrick Alvarez, 25 nieces and nephews, and 39 grandnieces and nephews.
Andy loved to be in the company of people. He was a man of many words with a bounty of stories to tell. He was as much a comic as he was comical. Andy was a self-taught guitar and piano player, and one would have been lucky to have been pulled onto the dance floor for a little swing or boogie. Chances are, if he knew your birthdate, there would be an annual greeting from him whether it be through text, voicemail, snail mail or all of the above. Andy was a devout child of God with a strong devotion to Mama Mary. He had the best of intentions, the most generous soul, and his kindness could be seen in his eyes. Andy is so loved and will forever be remembered.
