Obituary of Wilmer Antonio Gil

Wilmer Antonio Gil Pedemonte, 48, of Sterling, Virginia, passed away on September 15, 2021 in Reston Hospital.

Funeral service and visitation will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home on September 18, 2021 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove, 831 Dranesville Rd Herndon, VA 20170. 

Wilmer was born in Lima, Peru to Paz Antonio Gil and Cruz Elena Gil (née Pedemonte). He went to high school at Colegió Gran Unidad Mariano Melgar and graduated in 1989. He worked as a Ramp Agent for FedEx since 2003, United Airlines since 1999, and Delta Airlines since 2005. Wilmer was very hardworking and during his free time he enjoyed soccer and traveling, especially to the beach. 

Wilmer is survived by his son Wilmer Yariel Antonio Gil-Cachay, his parents Paz Antonio and Cruz Elena Gil, his former wife Lini Natividad Gil, his siblings Marco, Leonor, Jorge, and Katherine Gil, and his 13 nieces and nephews.
