I played lacrosse with Ron when he was a multi-year varsity goalie for Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA. It is amazing the bond that one creates when playing on the same team. I have not seen Ron for 50 years, but his legacy as a kind-hearted soul who possessed an incredible amount of determination will survive him. RIP, Ron Lee. You are remembered.

Many years ago I was asked to head the division at Tompkins Builders that Ron had been managing. At that time Ron was dealing with a few health issues. Some may have been resentful of a change like that, but not Ron. Ron was one of the most decent people I’ve ever known. As it turned out, during that time I became disabled with multiple sclerosis. Ron, ever gracious, even though dealing with his own issues, helped me immensely. He even called and visited me at home to make sure I was doing okay. Ron was an extraordinary man I can’t imagine how much he’ll be missed at home. May God grant Ron’s family peace and comfort in this most difficult time.
