I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Terry. I wish I had seen this posting earlier. I think Terry would understand how crazy the beginning of the school year is, meaning little time for Facebook. I knew Terry in many roles: first, as the kind and loving parent of Ira and Aloysha, my beloved students; next, as the most incredible classroom volunteer a teacher could hope for; and then, after Terry went back to school to become an ESOL teacher, as a wonderful FCPS ESOL teacher/colleague. Terry touched many lives in many ways, including my own. My heart goes out to his wonderful family. I hold you all in my prayers. Hold on to all the wonderful memories of an incredibly kind, generous, and caring husband, father, and teacher.

I am sad to hear of the passing of Terry Morrow, a wonderful husband to my dear high school friend Anna Mary Coburn who partnered with her to raise a wonderful blended family. I admired Terry knowing he supported Anna Mary in her ambitious career even when it was a challenge for him and the family. He also supported the arts, loved to draw and paint himself and encouraged his son Nick to pursue the arts as well. Terry along with his wife Anna Mary supported my work as an artist which I am forever grateful for and continued his private love of art through drawing and sketching. Terry was interested in a recent project of mine which honored lives lost to Covid 19 and I have been asked to add a link here about the project, so those in his circle of friends know that 200 artists created work honoring 400,000 lives lost to Covid-19 through the creative marks they made in paint, ink, pencil and other materials. What a sad, sad surprise. I taught at Forestville with Terry, and what a ray of sunshine! Terry always had a smile on his face and a spring in his step. His dedication to his students was obvious. I remember when Terry heard that I cycled, his eyes really lit up. We talked about cycling, and he correctly gauged that my riding level was below his. I remember him giving me suggested rides for my level. What a kind person. I am so sorry to hear the news.. I can imagine how much he is missed. I hope you draw some comfort from how happy he was. I don't believe anyone can be that happy without love and support from their family.
