Hugh, I am very sorry to have read about the loss of such a beautiful spirit. Diane was a kind, caring, generous and gracious woman whose light shown over so many who were fortunate enough to have known her for even the briefest of time; myself included. To Hugh and all of Dianne’s family & friends, I’m very sorry to read of her passing. I have thought about her many times over the years, including recently when I passed a street sign with a family name she had been researching, and if I remember correctly, I had gather gravesite photos for her.
She and Hugh were very gracious to invite me to dinner when they came to Syracuse so we could meet in person. I’m very glad I was able to meet her/them in person!
I’m sorry I hadn’t been in touch the past few years, hopefully I’ll get back to my family Genealogy because I really enjoyed the friendship of strangers I met via Genealogy.
You are all in my thoughts & prayers and I will try to meet you on the 6th or 7th.

We had many hard times growing up. You babysat many of us over the years. Pinching many of our cheeks. I remember my brother even got you once. You took it with grace. I love you and hold you forever in my heart the memories we shared. I will miss our long talks, your laughter filled a room. You were my glue, as my mom was for you.
