Obituary of Josephine Mary Gullace

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Josephine Gullace of Herndon, VA on October 27, 2021 at the age of 89. Josephine grew up in Maryland but spent most of her adult life in Northern Virginia. An independent and hard worker, she worked in both the medical field and retail sales, which led to many lifelong friendships. A devout Catholic, Josephine was an extremely kind, generous, and selfless person; she always gave from the heart. She loved animals and always had pets in her life. Her deepest love and most important part of her life was always her family. She cherished the times they were together, and spoke of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as her greatest joy! Josephine was the happiest when her family was happy. She is survived by her daughter, Gia Samson (Steve); son, Greg Gullace, and her niece, Sharon Kirby. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Greg Gullace Jr, Stephanie Kaberna (Kevin), Jeffrey Samson (Sandy), and Valerie Henry (Ryan) as well as her great-grandchildren: Kaylie and Claire Kaberna, Jack Samson, and Samson Henry. Services will be private.
