Obituary of David Thomas Walthall

WALTHALL, David Thomas, age 68, passed away at his home with complications to a prolonged illness Tuesday, November 09, 2021, in Sterling, Virginia. He was born on September 25, 1953, to the late Thomas L Walthall and Mildred V Walthall formally of Triple 7 school. He worked for the McDonald’s Corporation for 36 years. Most of these years were with Van Management, Inc. He was an active member of Sterling United Methodist Church for over 22 years. The loves of his life were his three grandchildren who he adored and loved deeply.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Barbara S. Walthall, brother Frank L. Walthall, daughter Rebecca Fortier, son-in-law Kevin Fortier, son David A. Walthall, daughter-in-law Kathy Kelley, son Joseph Walthall and grandchildren, Braden Walthall, Avery Walthall, and Conor Fortier.

The family would like to thank INOVA Loudoun Hospital and Capital Care for all their help and support during his long battle.

A memorial service will be held at Sterling United Methodist Church in Sterling, VA on Saturday, December 04, 2021, at 10:00AM.
