So sadden to hear of Mac's passing. We worked together with United. My husband in the maintenance department and I was in the control center with customer service. He was such a great guy, so friendly and what a talker. When I announced we were pregnant with our 1st child, Mac brought in a baby gift for us. It touched us both. He was so kind and thoughtful. Prayers to family and friends during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief. My Father and Mac worked together up in JFK. After time Mac moved on to bigger and better things. He showed up at Dulles where I was stationed already. After time getting to know Mac he was a good man to work with .The thing that stands out in my mind about is every time my Father came down from NYC , Mac would spend the full day with him. He was a thoughtful man . "Rest in Peace" Mac.

My biggest memory of who Mac was, is what happened after 9-11- 2001. United Airlines started to lay off some of the junior employees in all the departments. By 2003 they were laying off people in the maintenance department. One of the junior employees had a family with three small children. He was next to be layed off. Mac was only 59 years old with over 30 years of seniority & didn't have any plans to retire at that time. He went to our manager and told him that he would take the layoff in order to save the job of that junior employee. That gesture tells everything about who Mac was. He was a very generous man with big heart that stepped up to help out a fellow employee in time of crisis. I will carry those memories with me forever. I am proud to call Mac my friend, there are not a lot of people like him in this world. May God Bless him and his family. George Adam.

I am sadden to hear of Mac's passing. I still remember my first day at Dulles Airport when I transferred in from SFO. I was assigned to Mac to get familiar with Dulles. We then worked side by side as supervisors for years until he retired. My dad and Mac worked together at BWI when it was known as Friendship Airport. Today is a little less bright today without Mac,
