Obituary of William Allen Hicks

William Allen Hicks, 82 Years old, passed away on November 10^th 2021.  He was born in Washington, DC in 1939 and was a resident of Falls Church VA for over 40 years.  He graduated from Herndon High in 1956 and shortly after joined the US Air Force.  He worked for Madison Limousine service for the rest of his career.

Over his lifetime Allen enjoyed being a member Arnon Protestant Church and Aldersgate Wesleyan Church - where he sang in the choir and drove the church bus.  He also considered himself a professional photographer. 

Allen is survived by his Sister Carol Layfield of Maryville TN.  He is also survived by his Brother-In-Law Alvin Layfield, Nieces Tiffany Layfield, Becky Garner, Sydney Newsom and Nephew Michael Newsom.

There will be visitation and viewing at 9:30 am on November 19^th at the Adams-Green Funeral Home - 721 Elden ST Herndon Va.  A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at the Arnon Cemetery - 654 Walker Rd, Great Falls VA 22066
