Jim was born to James and Constance McCloskey in Philadelphia, PA on June 14, 1945. He grew up in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Bishop Newman High School in 1963. At the age of eighteen, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Air Police Patrolman. As part of this service, he received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Outstanding Unit Award.
Jim was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He was kind, generous, hardworking, loyal, faithful, and funny. His most important quality however was the way he lived his life for Christ! In 1982, Jim gave his heart and life to Jesus Christ. After Jim’s retirement, he became part of Bible Study Fellowship in Ashburn, VA. He developed many precious relationships and grew tremendously in his faith. Jim loved the Lord and was not ashamed to share the gospel. We loved Jim immensely and we take great comfort knowing that Jim is resting peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
