Obituary of Dorothy Yvonne McKeever

Dorothy Yvonne “Bunny” Mckeever passed on November 20, 2021 at her home in Luray Virginia surrounded by her loving family, she was born in Georgetown DC on June 3, 1939 and married to Thomas James Mckeever jr on January 30, 1960. Dorothy was a granddaughter, daughter, sister, cousin, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, she will be remembered for her loving heart, if she loved you, you knew it. She loved her family first and foremost, she loved music (Frankie Valli in particular), she loved animals (all, including Sadie, Scooter and Sheba), she loved her home and having her family in it, she loved her job and was with her company for over 25 years retiring well into her 70’s.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Thomas James Mckeever III, John Patrick Mckeever, Colleen Marie Ernest, her grandchildren, Carrie, Dawn, Erin, Mckenna and Cody and her great grandchildren Landon, Brennan, Grayson, Makenzie, Carter, Adeline, Davina and one on the way as well as her brothers Gary Miller, Johnny Miller, William Miller and sisters Linda Miller and Deborah Harrington.

Memorial service will be held at The Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon Va on Dec 4 at 2pm, with Pastor Brett Wilson of Georgetown Lutheran Church of Washington DC performing the service.
