Bhenji was a kind human being. She was our first cousin but was like an aunt to us. She went through several trials and tribulations in her younger days but not once did she complain. We always saw her in Chardi Kalla - always smiling and concerned about everyone’’s welf-being. Even when she lost her husband early in life and then her wonderful daughter- she accepted it as God’s Will! Even at the age of 97 her voice was as crisp as she was when we first met her in 1961! She was an independent woman, never wished to be a burden on anyone, spoke lovingly about her entire family and was a giver! She donated to charity selflessly and today her entire family is well placed because of her blessings! She was a stoic woman. It is a sad day today as we will be bidding our final good byes but she will always remain in our hearts! She was a legend and we need to take examples from her life! Although she will be sadly missed - we need to celebrate her life! May Bhenji’s soul rest in peace!
