Obituary of Jacqueline Slade Mowbray

Jacqueline Slade Mowbray of Ashburn, Virginia passed away on November 24, 2021 at her home in Ashburn after a period of declining health.

Jackie was born in 1944 to John and Marion Matthews in Akron, Ohio where she grew up and spent many years.  After relocating to Northern Virginia, she was a successful sales representative for Data National selling yellow pages advertising before retiring in 2008.  Jackie loved playing bridge, bird watching, traveling and minding the grandchildren.  She was for many years a volunteer for the Belmont Home Owners Association.  A kind and gregarious soul she will be acutely missed by her many friends and relatives.

Jackie is survived by her husband, David; her children Mark and Monica; grandchildren Madison, Ellie, Skylar, Cooper, Tucker and Tyler.  Sophie the cat misses her terribly as do we all.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the Spring of 2022.  In lieu to flowers donations may be made to the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy.
