I just saw a tribute to Ed in the California-Nevada- Hawaii Kiwanis announcements for the 2022 annual convention. I met Ed and Natalie shortly after coming to California to start my own ophthalmology practice in 1967 (San Jose). His ascention to Kiwanis Lt. Governor and then Governor while maintaining his medical practice was a tremendous inspiration to me. I believe son Eddie was a classmate of our son at Bellarmine College Prep.
