i worked with ltcol wilson from july, 69 until he left vietnam in april. 70. i was his pio, and he asked one question in my interview-how well did i shoot. got second in co,pany with 14 in basic. we went out alone on track to fb barbara. also east of hwy ql1. he always went first, with me walking in his footsteps-always silently. 120 times plus on trail to barbara. we lived, with wilson acting like a father. he never mentioned another woman -ann was his life. i was invited to vist brigadier general and family in mobile. a truly great man. sp5 mark j buls.
