My earliest memory of my Tio Manni is of him carrying me on his shoulders, which was really exciting because he was the tallest person I had ever known and we had to duck to go through doorways. It was also the first time I'd been that close to a bald head. I remember asking him why he was bald and he explained that it was because his head was so much closer to the Sun. He was always the gentlest, most caring Tio even as I grew older. And always the closest to the sun. Te quiero mucho Tio Manni.
