'
I am so and very sadden by the loss of your matriarch. Vicki and I worked within the same agency at the Department of the Interior many, many years ago. I apologize that I could not be there with you to morn Vicki's passing. but please trust I do morn Vicki's passing. Vicki always treated most who knew her at Interior with patience and kindness. Vicki was an excellent worker, I always had confidence in any project, big or small, being successful if Vicki had a hand in it. If it was something that could (and, at times, even it was something that couldn't) get done, you could always rest assured that it would work out if Vicki was involved. I am very happy that Vicki got the opportunity to share her retired years with all of you, her family. I feel privileged to have knew Vicki and to feel that she thought of me as a friend, Thank you very much for sharing some of your pictures of Vicki with me and others. I believe your family was blessed to have Vicki in your life. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dear family of Vicki,
If you were able to attend then recall Vicki's retirement party. I have attended very few such parties so well attended, so filled with friendship for the retiree and true sadness due to the departure. Vicki was well respected, enjoyed and filled all she worked with confidence that anything Vicki worked on would get done and done well. And such a sense of humor. I am very sorry for your loss.
