Obituary of Phương Xuân Thị Nguyễn

On Thursday, March 3, 2022, Phương Xuân Thị Nguyễn, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed at the age of 87.

Phương was born on July 14, 1934 in Sài Gòn, Việt Nam to Thới and Sang. On January 12, 1957, she married Lộc Tấn Lê. In 1986, she moved to Virginia with her husband and five children.

Phương lived a prayerful life devoted to God, instilling core values of faith, love, and hope in her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going fishing and gardening with her husband, spending time with family and friends, creating photo albums and reminiscing on past memories with others, listening to worship music, singing, making and drinking coffee, dressing up fashionably, and doing word search.

Phương is survived by six children and their families, including eleven grandchildren, four grandchildren-in-laws, and three great-grandchildren. She is remembered by her children: Cúc and Quang, Phát and Hương, Yến and Sơn, Phượng, Đạt and Hương, and Hùng and Thủy. She is also remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Quỳnh; Tâm, Loan, Nhân, and Phúc; Kevin; Jacob; Katherine, Vinh, and Audrey; Jennifer; James and Cynthia; Denise and Darius; Monique; Vincent; and Louis.
