Obituary of Jorge Bismarks Ulloa Soza

Jorge Bismark Ulloa Soza, of Herndon VA, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 9th,2022, while in the care of the Iliff Nursing And Rehabilitation Center.

Born in ChiChigalpa,Nicaragua on September 14 of 1959 to Julio Ulloa and Nery Soza into a large extended family.

Jorge held employment as a landscaping team lead for the A Cut Above company until he could no longer work due to health concerns. Jorge was a very hard worker, with landscaping his specialty. He had a creative ability to transform spaces into picturesque areas of beauty. Also, if something was broken and needed to be fixed, he was the person to call, as he could fix anything and loved to help. Jorge loved history, documentaries, and all types of music to include pop and rock-and-roll.

At the end of the day, Jorge would go home to his loving wife Penia. Jorge loved his family and friends with all his heart and always held them close, especially his wife and daughter Shelley. Always a humble, good humored and generous man, he left an impression on everything he did and everyone he met. While his physical presence will be missed, there are so many things that will remind us of the love and joy he brought to all our lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Julio Ulloa. He is survived by his wife Penia Balela Ulloa, his daughter Shelley Yaremy Ulloa, stepchildren, his brothers and sisters Reina Isabel, Reina Amparo, William and Larry Ulloa. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and by many wonderful friends.
 

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon VA 20170.  A reception will follow at  Amphora Herndon Restaurant, 1151 Elden Street Herndon, Virginia 20170 from 12:30 pm until 3:30 PM.
