My deepest sympathy to Steven's family and friends. I was the secretary at Det 510 University of New Mexico. I have always had such admiration and respect for Steven. May the Lord bring comfort and strength to his family. Rest in Peace.

I am so sad to just hear of Steven's passing ! He was such a pleasure to work with at DARPA, always soft spoken and kind to me. I enjoyed talking with him about Cooper and how fast he was growing, he would share new pics with me whenever he got them. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

I was so fortunate to have known and worked with Steven. He showed me the far ends of the reality bell curve, ranging from his deep love for his family, his high professional achievements, and a tireless work ethic, as well as how we all deal with the daunting challenges that arise from our flawed humanness. He was a true patriot who expressed a deep love for his country in his work. Gone too soon. I will miss you Steven, but never forget you.
