I lived in Bill’s neighborhood and so we shared many good memories at the May st playground , classmates at St James grammar school( alter boys on the Solemn high mass team), & finally at St John’s Prep.class ‘56. We met once again at our 50th SJP reunion.
Bill never changed his easygoing ways! How could you not love him!

Looking back 75 years, but with memories as fresh as if it were yesterday, I see Bill (we called him Red for his full lock of brilliant hair) in full conversation on events of the day. Bill was a gentle soul in the midst of what was sometimes a tempestuous and strenuous milieu at the May Street playground in Salem, MA. Bill was a warm, kind and gentle soul. He loved and adored his wife (my cousin) Marion and all his girls.
I always enjoyed our visits together in Massachusetts even if they were shorter than I would have liked.
You will be missed. Rest in peace.

I couldn't have asked for a better father-in-law to my son. Bill was such a sweetheart. I can't recall a time where I ever saw him be cross with anyone. We enjoyed so many wonderful family gatherings....he will be greatly missed. My heart aches for Marion, Terry, Christine, Mary, and their spouses and children.
