Obituary of Janet Moyer Moore

Janet Moyer Moore, of Ashburn, Virginia passed Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Janet was born to the late Robert and Marion Moyer in the District of Columbia on August 11, 1938. Janet was predeceased by her loving husband George Moore. She was a devoted mother and mother-in-law of John and Chris Moore and David Moore; "Grandma" to Jack (Samantha), Susan and Will; Great-Grandmother of Hunter.

Janet was a member of the Herndon Historical Society and the Fortnightly Club. She loved to travel by motorhomes, ships, planes, and trains worldwide. She had a passion for the Washington Nationals and drinking wine when they lost. Janet loved to pass time with friends by gardening, experiencing new cuisine, and playing card games.

Services will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 651 Dransville Road, Herndon, VA 20170 at 11:00 am April 15, 2022 followed by interment at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
