Obituary of Suzanne E. Sherrick

Suzanne “Suzy” Sherrick, age 70, of Herndon, Virginia passed away peacefully following a period of illness and associated respiratory issues on April 25, 2022 at Manor Care Nursing facility.

Suzy was born in Marin County, California on July 26 1951, to Eleanor and LaVerne Sherrick. She moved to Herndon, Virginia in 1980, where she lived with family for 30 years. She enjoyed music, movies, family, baseball and perusing her favorite magazines. A loving and doting aunt and great aunt, she especially loved interacting and playing with her nieces and nephews; ever willing and always supportive. To say that Suzy had great loving and caring in her heart would be an understatement. She was affectionately loved by all who knew her and referred to as a sweet soul.

In the last years of her life Suzy lived in an Assisted Living home in Fairfax County where she made many friends and loving staff members. In addition to her family, the folks there loved and comforted her through her final days.

The third of four Sherrick children, Suzanne is survived by two sisters Sherrill Sullivan, Herndon, VA and Jeanne Sershen, Chocowinity, NC. She was preceded in death by her brother Gregory Sherrick.
