Judy was a mentor and will always be remembered as a smart and articulate woman. I met her sophomore year while attending Mary Baldwin College and working at the Alumnae Office/House. She was a pillar of strength when her son passed. I will never forget the kindness and compassion Judy showed to me and all of those around her. May perpetual light shine upon you, rest in peace. Love you Judy.

We grew up knowing and loving Judy as neighbors. Her collie dog, Michael, was her constant companion and she always took time to play with her younger sisters and their friends. She had a generous soul. May the good memories sustain you all at this sad time. Susan McDaniel Coryell

Susan, Thank you for remembering Judy - and Mike. We all loved growing up with your family. When she wrote some memories of she and Dan growing up, she said, "Our playmates were usually the twins, Tom and John, who lived at the top of the hill on Monroe Street and Mary Lou who lived further up the hill on Grant." We talked a lot about those years in Herndon and what a wonderful time we all had.
