 Hema Mandava, aged 43, passed away peacefully in her home in Aldie, VA, surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her husband Praveen Mandava, daughters Harika & Keerthi Mandava and parents Subba Rao Yanamadala & Visalakshi. She also leaves behind a large group of extended family and friends who all hold her dearly in their heart. 

Hema graduated from George Mason University with an MS in Information Systems. She was an amazing mom, wonderful wife, caring sister, loving daughter and a true  friend. She had a unique gift of lighting up any room that she walked into. She had a multitude of hobbies such as gardening, cooking, reading, and just enjoying time with her family. She had the most genuine and plain heart and took everything in stride. She always insisted on living in the moment. Hema was one of the strongest people we knew and the backbone that held the Mandava family together.
