Murray had great pride in the work he could accomplish and in how many things of substance he could get done with a combination of insight, thinking things through, and detailed preparation.
At the same time he would value being remembered for the things considered play. His play in life always showed the same intensity and thoughtfulness, whether it was chess where he was quick, creative, unbelievably competitive in play or his role playing where he could build a world with amazing imagination and creativity.
I'll remember Murray for those things, for his continuing quest for the best path forward in life. I'll remember all that and his fierce loyalty for those he valued as friends. I'll miss Murray very much.
