I've been thinking for days of a few favorite memories. I can't pick. We lived close for almost 20 years, then remained friends forever after. We raised our children together, sharing all that goes along with that task! We had very few disagreements, never an argument. We shared our love of music, games, cooking, nature, our husbands, family and friends and just plain laughing. I loved her smile and her laugh! I can still hear it and see her face.
Her task of organizing drove me crazy with envy, mostly I suppose. I never did master her ability for that! I could seldom beat her at Gin or Scrabble, we put enough hours in it! She was one of a handful of long time and faithful friends I've been lucky enough to have shared a big part of my life with. I'll never forget you Sheila.
