For a intense period a long time ago I was honored to have Greg as a close friend. We spent hours in gyms and just plain hanging out. Always there for a laugh or for support it wasn't a surprise to read he rose to "man of the year" acclaim. Although a tragic loss, I hope that there is comfort in knowing he was off to shoot some hoops; something he loved to do since our days together. Selfishly I just wish we were able to connect and reminise a little. He had a way of making me smile. For those he left behind; keep the faith. There are no explanations that make sense of Greg's premature departure. A toast - he made things better, a worthy accomplishment for any man - gambe!
