Obituary of Andrea Koren Lynch

Andrea (Koren) Lynch, 75, of Oakton, VA, fell peacefully asleep in the Lord on May 23, 2022 at the Fairfax Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a brief illness following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes.

 Andrea was born in the Bronx, NY on September 11, 1946 to Joseph and Mary (Hrab) Koren. She worked as an administrative professional for Mobil Oil Corporation in New York City, before moving to Virginia to raise a family. In addition to her family, Andrea loved participating at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, animals, travel, country music, bowling, dancing and wine tastings.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Timothy A. Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Daniel J. Lynch, their daughter and son-in-law Aubrey and David McCullough, two grandsons (Jack and Shawn), sister Stephanie Lewis of Montrose, WV, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation and prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 10 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 20937 Ashburn Rd, Ste 110 in Ashburn, VA. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 11 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church followed by burial at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA.
