Obituary of Virginia Daire Kidwell

Virginia Daire Holdaway Kidwell of Warrenton Virginia, formerly of Herndon Virginia, went to be with her Saviour on June 10, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Virginia (Gin), was born April 26, 1939 in Herndon Virginia.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Lillian Holdaway Ritch, father, Stanley Howard Holdaway and stepfather Joseph A. Ritch, brothers Eugene Holdaway and Joseph A. Ritch III (Andy) and sister JoAnn Austell and daughter Emma Jean Holdaway Miller.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ray William Kidwell, her daughter Pamela Jo Kidwell Mathews, Son-in-law Ferlin G. Mathews and grandsons Jacob Carson Mathews and William Stanley Miller.

Virginia was employed by Fairfax County Government where she worked in the Department of Finance for 32 years before her retirement and was fondly known as Ginny K.

She enjoyed her family, friends, giving gifts, the church and her devotion to her Lord. 

Viewing will be at Adams-Green Funeral home on June 20, 2022 from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church of Herndon on June 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., mask will be required at the church. Internment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon Virginia
